# Need help with ActionScripting for platform game

Hi guys, I just began using flash and I am very eager to develop movies and games in it. I just recently started a mario game, but there is a problem. Actually 2, first off I need a code that will make my character (Instance name "player) go to the standing animation when there are no arrow keys being pressed. For example, he constantly remains in the running animation, even if I release all buttons. Second problem, I need a code to make him jump (please try to make the code as similar to mario’s jump in the real game as possible). All help will be greatly appreciated.
