# Need help with Buttons.... open/close

Hi all,

I’m fairly new to flash, but not to design, and I think that’s where these problems begin. I design beyond my flash capabilities, so if anyone could help me with these problems it would be much appreciated.

The problem is this. I have a site layed out and I want to make the buttons open up dynamic text boxes in specified location on the stage (namely, underneath the button.) This is not a problem, but I also want to be able to close the dynamic text boxes by hitting the button a second time. I’m sure this can be accomplished but I haven’t yet figured out how.

The problem is compounded by this, which I’m finding much harder to figure out.  
Not only do I want the buttons (text boxes) to open and close on click, but I also want the ability to open/close all (or none) separately while retaining the current state of the others. If this doesn’t make sense, please refer to this… (this is not my site, but another I came across in the search for answers… [www.infectdesign.com](http://www.infectdesign.com) These are the kind of text boxes I’m talking about that are only shown after click, however, I want mine to be able to open/close 2,3, or 4 “sections” one at a time in whatever order the user wants, giving the site a more “customizable” look or usage.)

Again if anyone can help me with this, I would be very grateful.
