# Need help with buttons

I have created a Button using a Movie Clip (I used the “on” action script.) I did this fine but i want the RollOverEffect to Enlarge the button. I made this effect fine but now, instead of counting the enlarged button as a button, it only registers the part of the enlarged button that was the size of the original button.

In order to simplify what I am trying to say I will put it like this. I made a pull down menu but when you try to highlight the options when the pull-down menu is expanded, it goes activates the effect to constrict it back. It won’t register the new area of the button. Please let me know if you have a solution. An example FLA would be helpful.

Better yet, why don’t you attach what you’ve done so far? 😉
