Hi everyone. Im doing some tutorials with flash, just getting started out. Anyways in one of the tutorials im supposed to try and make a scroll bar. now this consists of a gutter for the scrollbar as well as the scroll bar. in order to construct these it says i need to turn line art off. I have no idea what this is talking about. Any info on how to turn line art off will be greatly appreciated. 🙂 ---

Turn line art off? Wha? I have no clue dude. I even searched the help files, there is nothing about turning line art off (nothing about line art period). Line art is a style of drawing. It is like Vector Drawing. ---

man im as lost as u r. i was thinking the same thing as u about the line art just being a style of drawing vector art but i guess it must be something more. :-\ ---

Well according to the Flash help files, there isn’t anything more…lol. It really says to turn off line art??? Can you send a link to this tutorial? ---

Yea. ive been searching and searching for like 3 days tryin to find what it means and i can’t come up with anything. thats y i decided to try out a forum and see what i could get. i know. i checked the help as well and it gave me nothing. ---

I clicked on chap 13, and even downloaded the .zip file, but I didn’t see any tutorial or anything about turning line art off :q: ---

■■■■, i forgot that it doesn’t come on the site its actually out of a book. id have thought they’d have a copy of the chapter on the site, never looked so i wouldn’t know. i think the problem is in my code tho. i have to go through it thoroughly and make sure there r no faults in it. thanx for all ur help tho man. Sorry I couldn’t help more ☹ I hope you get your problem fixed though 🙂 You can probably compare your .fla file with the one you can download from the site.
