# Need help with text effect

I created a text effect, where every time you loop through the function, it grabs the next letter in the array and puts it into a movieclip on the stage until everything is typed out. I did it this way so that I can control each letter and have it fly in and what not.

I am trying to make a custom effect but I need help writing up a function so that I can evaluate/get the x and y coordinates of each movieClip before they actually get animated to the stage.

Let me know if this isn’t clear enough.
