I need to design a logo for my site and i am a newbie in photoshop. If anyone knows some cool stuff that can help me please tell me. My name will be 2dd technology and I have no ideas. ---

if you can post a image of what you work with this might help. - a idea could be to focus on the 2dd which could make for a good symbol , where you could have [tech.com](http://tech.com) incoporated into it. ---

Well you start with an idea, then you think how to realize it. 🙂 Logos are usualy made in vector graphic (like freehand, AI, Core Draw) so you can use them on printed materials also. If you are planning only to use your logo on web you can make it in photoshop. Don’t make your logo in Photoshop. Make your logo in Illustrator (or Freehand) and just place it in photoshop when needed. A photoshop logo will also need to be redone for business cards and such, and you’ll be sad about it. Especially when you do tons of effects that you can’t copy in a vector program. So, vector it - cause it’s a logo 😃 But, like Martina said, start with a concept - or at least a company name. Figure out what you want to do with that logo and move forward.
