# Need some help, create mc based on user input

I have been given a task by my company to create for them an application that will allow a user to “build their own sign”. The variables that can be entered are:  
[list]  
[_]the width and height of sign  
[_]the color of the text (only amber, red, or blue)  
[_]a simple text message in an embedded font  
[_]choose 1 of 6 mounting options (a pole the sign will sit on)  
[\*]a bonus item (though not needed) would be to choose from 10 or so bg graphics that could be seen behind the text or by themselves.  
[/list] I also need to output the “created sign” to a printable page.

I am using mx2004 and have \*basic \*actionscript knowledge. I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction of how to start this project. Thanks!
