# Needing help select parts for a simple PC

Hello All!  
I have been procrastinating (spell check needed XD) on buying a PC for a long time. Well, the time has come. I, like many of you, am a programmer. I don’t play PC games (though having a system add-on later capabilities to allow me to play DOOM3 would be nice). So I really just want a dependable, decently fast Mobo, Pentium 4, and 512MB of ram. and maybe a 120GB HDD.

Now, I just want a mobo, and a processor that are compatible w/ the tower. I already have a floppy I bought for the PC a long time ago. Also, I bought a DVD burner and CD burner too… I just never bought the rest of the PC.

If someone would help me find a dependable and reasonably fast (or just fast period) mobo and processor to match, I can find the other small stuff (RAM, HDD, etc. [Though if you’d like to reccomend something, that is always nice!]).
