# New Member forum section

Many of the “new member” threads turn out to be spam (at least from what I have seen, I could be wrong), and they really don’t benefit anyone.

Would it be possible to make a separate “section” just for introductory threads?

[SIZE=1]As an added bonus, perhaps they can be purged or locked after 30 days to avoid spam edits and spam replies, but that’s not terribly important.[/SIZE]
