hello, ok so these last two weeks didn’t turn out to be what i expected. i have found a new job as a web editor and quit my other one, all in the same week. therefore, i have not had time for my pixel castle. i’m sorry, but i’m going to have to forfeit. in the near future i will join a battle again. sorry everyone. pinx ---

pixel art is fun? …whoa…i thought it was time consuming and boring!!! i was fooled!! anyone ever seen that show Art Attack with Neil? he creates those pictures with differnet materials and we watch from sky view as it develops and in the end it looks really good even though its made from household materials?? well i think pixel art is like that sorta, you don’t see how it looks like since ur zoomed in so much until you zoom out to check it, i simply can’t do that art, too hard, so my respect for you peepz grows ---

Mak: No I have several objects on the same layer. And I name my layers, and layer-sets 😉 I know exactly where my sh\*t is 😛 And I changed everything, mostly… My entry will be a front castle wall, with a “Marketplace” inside… Not a “castle” in itself, but is has to do with a castle 🙂 And that WAS the theme, so I’m not braking any rules 🙂 hehe… But I’m not as good at pixel art as I thought I was… I see that now… ---

I think that part of the point of a battle is to see which direction people take from being given the initial theme… So where you go from the word “Castle” is entirely up to you. That’s the fun of it… Eilsoe has gone for a marketplace infront of a castle, I’ve gone for a ruined castle… And everyone else is keeping their entries a closely guarded secret. 🙂 Still, taking into account that I haven’t seen anyone’s except mine yet, my money is on Soul or Eilsoe as well… 😛 Shall I open a book on it? 🙂 ---

hehe, my marketplace is INside the castle 🙂 or… in a “courtyard” kinda thing… The front wall is at the bottom of the pic… I’ve gone for 500x500 px :beam: It’s basically done now… maybe needs a little tweaking when I get home… ---

i think i have gone over the size limit… im sure mine is over 500px wide… not by much but it still is. well il post it when its done and leave it up to the moderators to decided whether or not it will be entered… mines nearly done, but im sure it wont win… especially cos im over the size limit. ---
