# New to database in flash

g’day,

i’m currently doing an assignment. where the user;

a) searches for a room number, in order to find it on a map

or

b) searches for a name, that shows you what the persons’ room number is… and then shows it on a map…

basically it’s similar to this…

click on “find a store”

and please notice the search directory section on the right hand side…

i am able to do the map zoom in and, mouse rollovers and everything… that isn’t too much of a problem as i have experience in it… but where im stuck is the whole flash database thing… and so i was wondering if anyone had some ideas as to how they did this, and if there’s any tutorials online that show an example like this…
