# Newbie Dynamic Text Question

Errr… newbie here…

Im trying to have alter the content of a .swf file through changing a .txt file.

I hear u do this using Dynamic text?

Ive looked at the tutorials and they all use buttons to load the text into the area. All i want is the text to be automatically loaded into the swf at the start, when i launch the .swf

However i cant even get the txt file to show up in the .swf ☹

So far i have a text box, set to dynamic, with multiline, with the instance name of test\_txt. thats as much as i know. My text file is in same directory and is called test.txt … where do i go from here :pa:

Also does a scroll bar automatically get created if the text file is bigger than the space i provided in the .swf ? If not can somone tell me how to create this T\_T

Im sure this is a quick 2min job for u guys, but im a nub in need of guidance, plz help
