# Newbie needs guidance

hey guys,

I’m trying to replicate something like this -

Do you see the navigation buttons on the bottom? I’m having trouble making the similar effects on mine.

Each button (HOME & GALLERIES) is a movie clip with the following setup

Just for test purposes, I did the following.

\*For the HOME button, I put the following AS on a key frame on the actions layer in the main movie-

\*For the GALLERIES button, I put the following AS on the button itself

Which way is the right way?

What I want to is like the above URL.

1. the rollOver and rollOut to work properly
2. when a button is clicked, I want the button to freeze on the rollOver frame and the button become unclickable, until I click another button

Please help! 🅱
