Hi,
I have a button say ‘abt\_btn’ on the main stage. On rollover, this button is instructed to gotoAndStop() at 5th frame which has a movie, ‘mc\_abt\_submenu’ on it, basically this implements my rollover effect since the movie at 5th frame is a submenu for abt\_btn.
Upto now, everything is fine and my actions in the 1st frame are:

\*stop();

btn\_abt.onRollOver = function():Void {
gotoAndStop(“5th frame”);
}\*

.But I also want to make sure that when I rollout of the ‘mc\_about\_submenu’, this movie should disappear, i.e., the play should go to the first frame. For this I added this to the actions on the first frame:

_mc\_about\_submenu.onRollOut = function():Void {
gotoAndStop(“1stframe”);
}_

Alas, this does not work. Any help?

You must have guessed by now that I am trying to make a menu navigation system quite like the one Macromedia’s website. Right now all the buttons and rollovers are working perfectly except for the rollout effect problem above.
