hi,  
i`ve tried this "create simple photo gallery " tutorial

yes!works great! but i would like to know

how can i add fade to the first picture of the gallery (as it just hits suddenly, whereas the rest fade nicely)?

and how can i add preloader to every pic in that kind of gallery?
