Afternoon! We’re building a website concerning the 11SEP01 “terrorist attacks”. I’m originally trained as a graphic designer, but due to the sensitive nature of the site, we’re trying to keep the design “in-house” but, alas, my information-sponging skills are a bit tapped out. I’m sure ya’ll detest green members posting these assistance requests, but I sincerely appreciate any help. If it manages to go above and beyond normal assistance, I’d be glad to exchange some information regarding Adobe CS information.

The **[index.html](http://www.truther.org/help!/index.html)** page will be the basic template for my site using mostly linked CSS. Doing the whole “wait, this works in IE, but a little different in Safari, but… etc.” Almost got it down but keep hitting a couple snags related to IE and Safari.

The \*\*[CSS\*\* is valid](http://www.truther.org/help!/css/css.css)

The \*\*[HTML\*\* is valid](http://www.truther.org/help!/index.html) (minus the Flash invalidation, don’t care too much to fix this at this point)

I’ve also tried as much as possible to reduce the use of margin and padding when using floated elements.

**Issue 1:** IE 7 (Don’t have 6 installed :puzzle:), on my “evidence” menu (the one below my banner logo) the flyout menus pop horizontally and behind the neighbor li. Also, the entire ul is leaving the #evidence\_container (or #evidence div).

**Issue 2:** I get my Google search to work fine in Opera/Moz/Safari, by being centered in its container, but in IE it drops my checkbox and input (as well as the text “[truther.org](http://truther.org)”) to the bottom. I got rid of the table that Google suggests, but thought that it was simple enough for CSS to handle displaying.

**Issue 3:** In Safari, I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why there’s an extra margin above the evidence menu when it renders fine in Moz/IE/Opera.

I appreciate the help. This site is geared toward exposing the lies and falsehoods perpetrated by my, the U.S., government regarding the 9/11 “attacks”. Your help in getting these issues resolved helps our message get out that much faster. Many supplications for your kindness.

Peace
