# Newbie trying to get a button to link to a url

Hello,

I’m fairly new t flash and I’m pretty crap at it as I can’t even get my button to link to a url, I’ve put the following code the the script for Scene 1 (the only scene(:

on (release) {  
getURL(“[http://www.bbc.co.uk/](http://www.bbc.co.uk/)”);  
}

But I just get 1087: Syntax error and if I preview it there is no link.
