# News ticker + typing effect = problem!

Hi

I’ve made a modification to the News Ticker as feature on this site

I’ve added a typewriter effect so the headlines print out. It works - the only problem is that before it types itself the headline flashes up for a second… This doesnt happen every time though(?)  
Any idea how to stop it doing this?
