# No change/remove button (XP)

Last night, one of my programs janked up on me and I had to reinstall it. No problem, right? Control panel\>Add/remove programs\>Uninstall. Only… Wait a sec, When I open add/remove, there’s no buttons for change/uninstall!! WTFOMGH4X!?! Even in safe mode!?!

So… I just ran system restore, backtracking to a few days ago. After that, everything was fine. But still, what the hell? What causes that to happen? What could possibly make all of my change/remove buttons vanish like that? I must know to avoid future occurances of this. Any ideas?
