# Noob here - Call up data

This is what i am trying to do. I want to have data called up when a certain number is entered, like a html page with text and pictures. If the correct item # is entered, the information is pulled up. Is this a good application for flash and actionscript? or for something like javascript and ajax? I’m brand new to both, but i’m very willing to learn.
