# Objects showing up outside 'MC' border

I have a nested movieclip that loads an external swf. My animation in the external swf has an object that starts outside of the movieclip area and is slowly tweened into the viewable area. However when I test the main movie it shows the animation starting from the outside of the nested movieclip.

I thought that movieclips aren’t supposed to showed anything outside of it’s borders? Maybe I’m doing something wrong please help.

You can use a mask so that it only appears where you want it to appear.
