# Odd Table Positioning in IE

Hi All,

First off let me say what’s up, haven’t posted here for a long time. On to the question…

Now, I know that I should be using tableless layouts using XHTML/CSS , but since I’m not well enough versed in it yet and needed this site up quickly, I wasn’t able to implement standards in my design:

If viewed in Safari, FireFox, Opera, or IE:Mac, it works completely fine. However, in good ole’ IE for Windows, you’ll notice that there is some odd spacing between table elements, and as a result the page does not degrade too gracefully.

Any suggestions (other than redesigning using tableless layout) as to how I could correct this problem? 😏
