# \# of layers = big file size?

Does increasing the number of layers increase the file size of an SWF? Or is the increase in size extraneous?

I just made a 100 empty layers :tb:

the file size is still 28 bytes…(same as when there was 1 layer). So I assume that having the same content distributed on ten layers is the same as using just one layer…

I checked it by making copies of a movieClip and checking filesize… then distributing top layers and then filesize… same…
