# Off stage stuff

How do I get the off stage stuff to not show up during my movie? I have a movie that includes multiple swf’s… do I need to add a mask border to all of them or is there a better way? Also, is it possible to tell the movie to come up minimized. no maximized so it shows outside the movie?

I realize that this is a way elementary question… but it’s something I have a feeling I have been handeling the hard way for a long time now and I am ready to learn the real way to handle this problem.

Thanks to anyone nice enough to answer my lame question.

it is a parameter in your HTML. If you are using Flash to publish, it is in your settings, check exact fit.

Thanks reverand… I knew it was something simple like that.

2nd question- is there any way to get it to center on the screen… I hae tried messing with those html settings and it publishes off to the left.

I’m kinda basing my project off of this flash presentation:

i want to make it centered in the screen like that.

Center it in your HTML code \<center\>flashswfcodehere\</center\>

If that’s what you mean by “center”, I don’t know of any other way to center a Flash movie, my site uses just the “center” code and it works fine: [http://www.julianwilson.tk](http://www.julianwilson.tk)
