Ok, ok ok ok ok.

😃 I’ll stop being hard headed. I’ll start with something simplier.

I’d like help making a side scrolling hack and slasher. Almost like Megaman Zero. The character will use a sword, a gun, and an array of other weapons. I just want to know how to work out the level designing and such right now. and like how to make it so they fall back to the ground at a moderate rate… that kind of stuff. Just jumping, attacking, and moving around. nothing unnessarily special.

As far as designing the levelings. I was wondering if I could have it were I just make like precreated and programmed platforms and stuff and just move, copy, and place them where i want. The levels will range from towns(just like running through and stopping monsters from terrorizing folks, no real interaction with the people.)to completely vertical dungeons.

I think maybe I’ll have some RPG aspects, but I’m working on the easy stuff right now.

So, what I want to start off with is movement and level design. IS this too much to start with? I tihnk my sprites’ll probably be the size of those from Megaman & Bass (Rockman and Forte, for the people who played the japanese version.) I hope this is simple enough for me to start off, but I’m asking to see if it is. 😃 what do you think? Too hard to start with?

PS. the reason I’m asking and not just seeing ofr myself is because I have alot of stuff to do, so before I start something I can’t very well finish, I want to see if its simple enough for me to be able to work on it, then stop when I need to, then pick it up simply without it being too much trouble?
