# On(release) help!

okay, so far I have

on(release){  
play();  
}

i’m assuming between the () is where I put the name of the animation. Is the name the name i give it when i convert it into a movie? And where do I put this animation that I want played? I’m sorry this is probably a dumb question but I’m still new to flash. Thanks
