# onClick function. Does it take into account transparency

Okay. I want to make some arrow shaped buttons for movement. I’m using an image tag. Will the html page take into account sections that don’t have any data if I’m using a .png file (Which supports it) and ignore it if I click in some whitespace or will it consider that part of the image and call the onclick function anyway?
