# Onkyo files for bankruptcy!

I haven’t had any Onkyo products, but I’ve always seen them around. A few other hifi audio companies have gone bankrupt in the past few years as well.

A part of me isn’t surprised, and the article touches on some of the changing behaviors. Here is what I think the future of hifi audio will be like. All of us will be wearing Airpod Pros (or equivalent from other companies) that are in-ear and offer full spatial audio that simulates audio with the same locational data as Dolby Atmos.

Am I insane in thinking that this will be the future?
