Hello fellas

I was thinking to buy a small drawing/painting tool… As of now I know about these 2 softwares which are cheaper… below 100 bucks

Actually there is a huge gap between these 2 but I wanted to know what others think. Here are the links of them…

OpenCanvas is pretty much cool… their brush engine is excellent besides they have many filters and many other things like rorating canvas for drawing…

At other side artrage is small application with excellent brush engine too. And simulates traditional media very well. But they have limited tools as compared to the other one. (though not bad at 20 bucks)

But I am not sure should I buy OpenCanvas or Artrage ? or both =)?

PS : DO U KNOW ANY OTHER GOOD SOFTWARES ?

I actually like Alias Sketchbook Pro but the tools are very lacking…

I’ve used ArtRage and the traditional media and brush engine are superb, but it also lacks in certain aspects…

I’ve never used OpenCanvas to do any digital painting but it looks promising.

There is always PS CS2 but you have to have lots of RAM to really use it like the others with a wacom ability…
