Hi,

I’m currently working on a database application project for school, and decided to take a stab at it with the flash components.

I made a plan and decided to divide all my sections in seperate .swf files.

I’ve been using mostly the combobox / dataset / datagrid and a remote connector in all my movies…but i noticed that it takes about 100kb just to compile them ( and on the first frame!)…i now have 6-7 movies, that are all around 110-150 kb…yikes! ( I basically have components in my movies, the rest is basically text )

Is there a way to optimize this? Or am i better off making one big movie?

thanks
