Hi all,

I’ve written a couple of games now and am finding that they seem to be a bit jerky when they run. I’ve been using an fps of 25. I was wondering whether the jerkyness is likely to be my eyes going funny from sleep deprivation, or too much computation in the code, or too lower frame rate? ([www.mosumo.com/curling](http://www.mosumo.com/curling)).

I’d be interested to find out what fps people use for their games? I live in the UK and our tv is 25 fps so figured that might be ok?

I’ve considered replacing sin/cos code with a lookup table- does anybody know if that offers a speed improvement if you’re only looking for 1 DP accuracy?

Tom
