# \<? ?\> or \<?php ?\>

Heya!

I have already some experience with PHP but I have a problem with a thing that I never see.

A server red hat linux 8.0 with PHP 4.2.2 only suports \<?php ?\> and didn’t reconize \<? ?\> . Why ? Exist anyway to change this ?
