Hey all…I recently upgraded to OS Panther. Now all my Studio programs, also Toast Titanium do not work. When I click the icon, the arrow shows up, and the icon starts to bounce, but then nothing happens. Any suggestions? (Other than just uninstall Panther)?

Thanks

I was going to install ontop of Panther today so I don’t yet know…

try reinstalling the problem prog or remove and re-add the alias to the dock (???)

…I’ll check back later today and tell of any issues I run into

This is my first Mac (17" PB G4) So I don’t know much about the OS…but is there any way to uninstall the Panther part of the OS??? I just want to go back to Jaguar, until they fix all this trash…this has really ate up my time today.

Thanks

hmmm … it is the OS so there is no way other than to clean install the OS you want to use… as far as I know…I mean there is no “panther part”… the whole thing is Panther

which may be an alt for you - clean install the panther (alot of work reinstalling all your progs but may be worth it)

I still haven’t woke up enough to install/test drive studio on it yet

…btw - I’m assuming you’re talking about studioMX and not 2004?

ok mine loaded fine…it is probably not a Panther issue…

Panther installed first (upgrade choice because I’m not ready to do a clean install just yet but which I intend to later)

installed FlashMX 2004 on top of that and it launched without a glich

…no real ideas m8… but how is yer memory ?

BTW, do a search on the forum’s for mac parody (if you haven’t already seen it) hillarious, and pretty much describes how I’m feelin right now 🙂
