# OTF to TTF Font Conversion Tool - Mac?

Does anyone know of an application that can extract or convert a TTF format font from an OTF format, for use on Mac OS X or 9? Any help would be appreciated - thank you.

I think Font Reserve by Extensis allows you just to use any type of font “PC” or “MAC” w/o having to convert it. [http://www.extensis.com](http://www.extensis.com)

there is a software that does that. it´s called **TransType** , even tho i´ve never used it, i´ve heard that it is great.

Thanks Guig0 - I actually found it, and I’ve been trying to use it (I have a 3-day trial version), but the font it exports to don’t have any information in them. And that’s not good. I’ve been playing with every export option to Mac TrueType and Type1 (even Windows formats, too) and can’t get any useful results. I’ll post again if I get it to work, though - thanks for your response.
