Hey, I’m trying to create a motion comic using elements of 3d flash. I am trying to animate symbols on multiple layers, and then package all that into a movieclip so that movieclip in turn can be moved to display the 3d elements.

Whenever I create this containing movieclip, the layers (and thus the animation) are left behind, with the images being put into the movieclip.

Am I simply going about this fundamentally wrong, or is there something I’m missing?
