Well, the only difference I find in this is the color  
But I think u should retain the menu … i mean the older menu seems better. the new one looks plain …

to be honest i’m not a fan of the information residing in boxes so close together. a user might get confused with what to read first. it doesn’t flow together very well. i would try to make it more lateral…then across if you know what i mean…

but outta the 2 choices i’d go with the first one.

I think you should go with a redesign if you are looking for impact changinf the colors and a css isnt going to do it any justice the layout is hard to follow (2).
