Well, I have about 50 good GB of extra space on my hard-drive. Is there any reason I can’t make my paging file 40 GB and use the bulk of my HD as RAM.

How large should I set my paging file? Will a larger paging file dramatically improve performance? Are there any negative consequences (other than me being unable to use that hard-drive space for anything else).
