# Paint bucket filling more than marquee

i’ve always had a problem with PS and the paint bucket wanting to fill the pixels around the marquee as well as my selection, is there a way to fix it so that it will only fill my selection and not the adjacent pixels.

(seems like its similar to anti-alaising but im not sure.)
