Hello fellow Kirupians! :bu:

I have yet another question: I’m redesigning my website, and it’ll have paper and art thingies in it, but I’m still working on the background.

Now, I’m looking for something like here:
[24-7 Media](http://www.24-7media.de)
[The Remedy](http://www.theremedy.be)

You see these backgrounds quite often now, and I like 'em. But I was wondering about how to make 'em… Coz I would need something lighter, like beige or something, to go with the paper…

Any suggestions?

some of them might be gradients (remedy) others scans, other photos (works well; take and old book and take a dig. photo of it, take out the words and youll have a good looking paper)

You mean they draw ALL that by hand? :h: Such abstract figures? :puzzle:

> some of them might be gradients (remedy) others scans, other photos (works well; take and old book and take a dig. photo of it, take out the words and youll have a good looking paper)

You mean the paper or the background? I might take the dig. photo for the paper, but if you ment for the background, I lost ya 😛

> gah i feel like a heel for not having the paper tut up

Well, as DDD said, I wasn’t really referring to the paper itself, but to the backgrounds. I just needed something that would go well with the paper edges of my website itself. But that tut would be useful anyway, since I still have to make everything

Thanks for your comments anyway :thumb:

you draw a portion of the pattern then. use photoshop’s make pattern command. What you are creating a seamless background. Do a google search for a photoshop seamless background tutorial. There are plenty out there. Even look in the sticky post at the top the one labeled useful resources.
