Like when your on the motoway/highway and the closest object to you move the quickest away, and the further distant objects move less.

Hmm, alrightI know what you mean, but I have no clue how to do it in Flash 5 (I started and use Flash MX)

It takes a lot of scripting though, im sure. Try this thread (i think sbeeners .zip file is a Flash 5 .fla file of something similar) …

Thanks for the link, however, the file doesn’y load up on my flash 5. It says “unexpected error” when opening.

Here is a user by the name of mariofan, on this thread here [http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13133](http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13133) with his/her signature doing the “parallax” thing I’d like.

I think mariofan’s footer is nothing more than Motion Tweens (not that these are bad). :-\

You’d only need to make those tweens longer or shorter depending on how distant the objects are. 🙂

It is really just a trick of the eye 🙂

You create the symbol of the item you want to loop.

Then you place 2 of them side by side like this…

|-----clip1-----|-----clip2-----|

then you scroll it over until all of clip2 is visible, then it should automatically loop back to frame 1 where clip1 is visible again.

Maybe this will help…

I kinda got you… and yes… its actually worked out well! 🙂

To some trial and error and calcualtions to get the timing and width.
