# Parallel shardquery

Hi there,  
I am going to shard my db especially my users table.  
But i am wondering how can i make lookup faster as when a new user or upon login i need to retrieve certain information.

Should i parallel lookup first over all shard that is available? or is there a better way of doind such thing?
