# Parsing incoming data from URLLoader?

Hi,

How can I parse my incoming string returned by server and get values?

Look at the code below, that is part of a class I am writing:

```auto

var PHPURLRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest(MyServerURL+"myscript.php");
var PHPsendVars:URLVariables = new URLVariables();
var PHPLoader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
            
PHPLoader.dataFormat = URLLoaderDataFormat.TEXT;
PHPLoader.load(PHPURLRequest);
PHPLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, onDataLoad);

function onDataLoad(evt:Event)
{
      trace (evt.target.data); // traces &errorcode=4& as expected
      trace (evt.target.data.errorcode); // spits out Error #1069: Property errorcode not found
}

```

Any clues?
