# Passing Value from Input Text Field to onClipEvent

I’m tyring to get the value of inputName inside a onClipEvent

The Layout:

Frame 1:  
Input Text field named inputName  
Button with gotoandstop(3) action

Frame 3:  
Movie that contains

onClipEvent (load) {  
loadVariables(“store\_locator.php?ma=500&user\_zip=” **+ inputName.text** , this, “GET”);  
}

if i use

onClipEvent (load) {  
loadVariables("store\_locator.php?ma=500&user\_zip= **85645** , this, “GET”);  
}

it works.

I don’t know how to get the value of inputName into the onClipEvent (load){};

i have searched, but maybe I don’t know the right terminology to find the answer. Thanks for the help.
