# Passing variables between swiffs

Hello all:

I’m trying to tell another swiff to gotoAndStop at a certain frame when it is loaded into \_level1 from \_level0. The swiff I’m loading into \_level1 has one layer with 4 different .jpgs on it. There are 4 seperate buttons at \_level0 that all load this swiff, but I’d like to be able to tell it to gotoAndStop at a certain frame in the loaded swiff depending on which button was clicked. For example:

```auto
 
on(release){
     my_mcl.loadClip("external.swf", 1);
     _level1.gotoAndStop(2);
}

```

If anyone can help, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!
