# Passing Variables Frame to MC

Hello:

How do I pass the variable from a Frame to a Movie Clip. Is there anything special?

ie,

Frame 1-2 loop  
number=3

I want to pass number 3 to the movie clip  
what should I use if the Movie Clip is in the same frame 1-2
