So I have the following code

> keyListener.onKeyDown=function(){
> if(Key.isDown(Key.SPACE)){
> for(i=0;i\<n;i++){
> var obj:MovieClip = \_root[“dot”+i];
> …

which works fine. However, i don’t want to use absolute paths like “\_root”, because I make all my movies load in a big “menu” movie, which calls them (see it [here](http://www.pa-rado-x.com/flash/menu.html) to see what i am talking about). So i tried to switch it to \_parent but it breaks, so does “\_level0”… any ideas?

Something about those listeners is confusing me, where do they stand in the relative hierarchy?
