# Pause/Play Button Script Assistance

Greetings,
I need assistance with button script. The result I am trying to achieve is a “Pause” button that when pressed:
1. pauses the movie , of course
2. switches to a “Play” button that when pressed reverts to the “Pause” button and resumes movieclip play.
Any thoughts? All help is very much appreciated.

Hello fellas!
what if I have many other .swfs… I tried to use your example for pause play button but it doesn’t pause or play anything.
Would I need a global pause play button?..
I also have audio on other .swfs, how do I go by accomplish this?

what about a rewind button? does this assume that all the animation is in the root timeline?
