# Percentage preload and transition tutorial

Is it possible to apply a preloader with a progress bar and the percentage display on the transition effect instead of just having a animation and “loading”.  
I’m using a modified version a tutorial i found here, here’s the code of the preloader :  
[AS]bytes\_loaded = Math.round(this.getBytesLoaded());  
bytes\_total = Math.round(this.getBytesTotal());  
getPercent = bytes\_loaded/bytes\_total;  
this.loadBar.\_width = getPercent_this.loadBarBorder.\_width;  
this.loadText = Math.round(getPercent_100)+"%";  
this.loadingClip.gotoAndStop(Math.round(getPercent\*19)+1);  
if (getPercent == 1) {  
this.gotoAndStop(3);  
}  
[/AS]

My question is where to put this script and the preloader animation

I’ve looked at your files claudio but the problem is that my preloader is made frame by frame, filling a border.  
I also wanted to know if it’s possible to show the progress in %, maybe you could take a look at my files above if you have some time :ne: !

hello, can someone help me with this :  
I’m trying to apply my preloader to a transition : it’s a a preloader that fills a border with a %, i tryed to apply it on the file of claudio but i don’t know wher to put the code for the % display and my preloader doesn’t work.

Here are 3 files in the zip : the preloader, claudio’s file and my unsucessful attempt to mix the two ☹
