Hey guys, in case you wanted to write your own swarms at home here’s a link to my blog entry about writing the swarm which includes a link to earlier source code:

That version doesn’t support as many guys on screen at once but the vector angle calculations are exactly the same as what you see in the newest (contest) version.

I hope to work on a blog post describing how I handled the broad level hit detection (what lets me get so many on screen at once) soon. I’ll be sure to write about it here when I do.
