Would it be possible to use the Kirupa tutorial on “Photo Slideshow Using XML and Flash” and incorporate a dynamic HTML link within the XML so the photos in the slideshow were clickable using Flash MX 2004?

Something like this:

function nextImage () {
if (p \< (total - 1)) {
p++;
if (loaded == filesize) {
picture.\_alpha = 0;
picture.loadMovie (image[p], 1);
picture\_num ();
slideshow ();
picture.onRelease = function() {
getURL(link[p],"\_blank");
};
}
}
}

And the XML looking like this:
\<?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“utf-8” standalone=“yes”?\>
\<images\>
\<pic\>
\<image\>print/slide\_1.swf\</image\>
\<link\>&quotehttp://www.somewebsite.com&quote\</link\>
\</pic\>
